Zak Hassan

I’m a dad and engineer based in beautiful Vancouver, British Colombia Canada. Over the years, I’ve had the priviledge of working for Red Hat, Hootsuite, SAP, Workday and currently Okta.
I’ve been lucky enough to work on some really interesting production systems and the scaling challenges of running production workloads in the cloud at multiple companies.
I got the opportunity over the years to work across three interesting verticles: Cloud, Security and Artificial Intelligence.
When I’m not busy with work, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and insights with others through my blog. It’s always great to connect with like-minded folks and learn from each other.
And when I’m not in front of my computer, I love to get outside and explore the great outdoors. Vancouver has so much to offer, from scenic hikes to refreshing swims and exciting kayaking trips. It’s a wonderful way to recharge and stay balanced.
Thanks for taking the time to read a little bit about me.
